Cherie Marshall

Cherie Marshall was born and raised in and around Burlington. She went to Trinity College of Vermont and has a degree in Social Work and Fine Art. After dabbling in many different crafts such as pottery, sewing, and wood-working, she was introduced to kiln-formed glass in 2013 and found the medium that really inspired her. She says, “I love the depth and colors, reflection and refraction, and the magical transformation of something very solid into very liquid and back again. It can be a frustrating medium that doesn’t always behave as expected, but I love that I sometimes get something even more beautiful than what was planned!”

Cherie makes jewelry in several styles, but her “signature” style is pieces made from patterned bars of glass that she creates.
