Paula Dorr

With 37 years of experience teaching cultural art and photography, Paula is a keen observer of shape, texture, color, and light in the environment. She works in pastel from her own photographs of the New England landscape, and her work, from the spreading branches of a Japanese maple to the hills in autumn, reveals her skills as a colorist. Paula has studied with local artists Rebecca Gottesman and Aileen Ordman, as well as with renowned artists such as Peter Granucci, Robert Carston, and Frank Frederico. She belongs to both the Vermont and Hew Hampshire pastel societies as well as the AVA Gallery in Lebanon. Her work has been shown in juried exhibitions across New England.
